Distributing Quarantine Kits and Daily Necessities... One Week of Sharing Activities Ahead of the Holiday

Employees of the Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service are packaging Chuseok gift sets for underprivileged neighbors, including those at the Brain Lesion Welfare Center, during a week dedicated to social contribution activities ahead of Chuseok.

The Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the National Health Insurance Service (Director Jang Su-mok) designated the week starting from the 17th as a social contribution activity week ahead of Chuseok.

During the designated "Chuseok Holiday Social Contribution Activity Week" until the 25th, they visited sister households and social welfare facilities to engage in sharing activities.

For this sharing activity, employees assembled "infection prevention kits" consisting of masks, disinfectant wipes, and hand wash?items that topped the list of daily necessities during the COVID-19 era?and delivered them to the Brain Lesion Welfare Center.

Moreover, they also delivered daily necessities to the Namsanjeong social welfare institution in Buk-gu, Busan, within the headquarters' jurisdiction, and to sister households. They added warmth so that neighbors could have a heartfelt and abundant Chuseok.

Director Jang Su-mok said, "We prepared gift packages with COVID-19 prevention supplies for neighbors who are experiencing difficulties due to COVID-19."
