Watcha offers Chuseok gift to new users... '3-day free coupon' giveaway

From the 29th to the 4th of next month, subscribers can enjoy content for three days without entering payment information

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Domestic online video service (OTT) Watcha announced on the 29th that it will hold an event offering 3-day free coupons ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

From today until October 4th, all new subscribers will receive a 3-day free usage coupon. During this period, by simply clicking the 'Participate' button on the Watcha subscription registration page without entering any payment information, users can enjoy a wide variety of content including movies, dramas, entertainment, and documentaries totaling 80,000 titles for free for 3 days.

Existing subscribers who are not currently subscribed to a usage plan can also use the coupon for 3 days of free access. A Watcha representative said, "This Chuseok is expected to have a mood of spending the holiday at home, minimizing regional movement such as refraining from visiting hometowns," adding, "We hope this will help everyone enjoy a healthier and safer holiday, even if just a little."

Meanwhile, during this Chuseok holiday, Watcha will newly offer about 60 movies including Miljeong and Fast & Furious, as well as about 20 movies, TV series, and entertainment programs such as Devs, Hanja wa Naoki (2020), Gajjasanai Season 2, and Haikyuu!! to the top part 2.
