Gokseong-gun to Provide 1 Million Won to Self-Restricted Gathering Businesses Due to COVID-19

Gokseong-gun to Provide 1 Million Won to Self-Restricted Gathering Businesses Due to COVID-19

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 29th that it will provide emergency management stabilization funds of 1 million won to businesses that have voluntarily closed due to the spread of COVID-19.

Due to the spread of COVID-19, Jeollanam-do issued a voluntary closure order for indoor sports facilities and others on August 28 to prevent infectious diseases.

Financial support was provided to businesses that complied with the closure order, but 15 businesses in Gokseong-gun that did not meet the conditions did not receive support.

Accordingly, Gokseong-gun independently provided emergency management stabilization funds of 1 million won to those businesses.

A county official said, "Although the financial situation is not good due to flood damage and COVID-19, we are grateful to the small business owners who sincerely cooperated with the closure order. We prepared this support measure hoping it will help stabilize their management even a little."

In April, Gokseong-gun also independently supported entertainment businesses excluded from the small business public utility fee support by investing county funds.

Meanwhile, Gokseong-gun is assisting with applications for the COVID-19 Small Business New Hope Fund and the Closed Store Rechallenge Incentive, which the Ministry of SMEs and Startups has been accepting since the 24th, through the Small Business Hope Center. If you are not familiar with using the internet, you can visit the center to apply for the incentive.
