Gwangju Bank Delivers 'Full Moon Wish Gifts' to Grandparent-Grandchild and Multicultural Families

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Bank (President Song Jong-wook) announced on the 29th that it held the "Full Moon Wish Gift Delivery" event, delivering holiday gifts by visiting grandparent-grandchild families and multicultural families.

This event was conducted by listening to the necessary gifts for children in difficult circumstances and fulfilling their wishes.

In the grandparent-grandchild family in Juwol-dong, a broken refrigerator was replaced with a new model, and a drawer for organizing the child's clothes, winter coats, and shoes were gifted. In the multicultural family with six siblings living in Ochi-dong, two laptops for study, stationery, toys, winter coats, and shoes were gifted.

Employees of Gwangju Bank and university student ambassadors encouraged the children to grow up brightly despite difficult family environments, helped with cleaning and organizing the house, and prepared snacks and food to share the abundance of the Chuseok holiday together.

Song Jong-wook, President of Gwangju Bank, said, "These days, when everyone is going through a difficult time due to the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to deliver the abundant warmth of Chuseok to our marginalized neighbors in the region, so we gathered our hearts together with employees." He added, "As the representative bank of Gwangju and Jeonnam, we will repay the love of local residents by carrying out essential social contribution activities for various sectors of the region as well as diverse financial support."
