[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] The Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) announced on the 29th that it is accepting applications for 'Financial Education for 3rd-Year High School Students' nationwide.
The FSS operates an educational program in collaboration with the entire financial sector to help students develop financial skills necessary for social life. Using a standard two-hour lecture plan, the FSS provides education on credit management, prevention of financial fraud, and financial management.
The application period is from the 1st to the 31st of next month. Applications can be submitted through the FSS Financial Education Center website (http://www.fss.or.kr/edu).
Institutions (such as financial companies) to conduct the education will be confirmed in November, and the education will take place after the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) on December 3rd.
This year, to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), a non-face-to-face education method using video conferencing programs will be utilized.
