Visit on Time for Activation with 'Happy Delivery', 'Baro Pickup' Available During Holidays

For Chuseok filial gifts, the ‘Galaxy A21s VIVA Trot Edition (hereafter A21s VIVA Trot)’, released on the 18th, draws attention. It features a ▲6.5-inch display ▲5000mAh large-capacity battery ▲48MP quad camera preferred by middle-aged and older adults, and provides 50 songs from Mr. Trot.
The Chuseok special event also offers ‘Galaxy Note10 5G’ and ‘LG X6 2019’ at 46% and 95% discounted prices, respectively. SK Telecom started the ‘Baro Dochak Happy Delivery (hereafter Happy Delivery)’ service on the 18th to further strengthen non-face-to-face phone purchase and activation services. When applying for the Happy Delivery service at T Direct Shop, a T Manager provides various services such as activation and data transfer at the desired place and time. It is a useful concierge service for gifting phones to parents, children, relatives, and others who live far away.
An SK Telecom official said, “In line with COVID-19 and the Chuseok holiday situation, we are expanding K-untact services and have been operating the Happy Delivery service since the 18th at 340 T World stores in 72 cities nationwide (covering 90% of the national population). Online activation rates have increased by more than 30% compared to before COVID-19, and we expect many customers to use Happy Delivery during this Chuseok holiday as well.”
Since the end of July, a pilot Happy Delivery service has been conducted for over a month at 11 stores in Seoul, Incheon, and Ilsan areas. The average delivery time was one hour, and the average service time ranged from a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of one hour. It was evaluated as a useful service for customers who find going out burdensome or are unable to go out due to childbirth, etc.
SK Telecom will also hold a ‘Baro Pickup Event’ during the Chuseok holiday period to enable customers to purchase phones safely and conveniently. From September 30 to October 3, the first 300 customers who use Baro Pickup at T Direct Shop will receive a ‘Premium Gongryeokhwan Gift Set.’
