[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] Genesis unveiled teaser images of the 'GV70' wrapped in camouflage film on the 29th. The GV70 is a rear-wheel-drive based mid-size premium sport utility vehicle (SUV) characterized by a sporty and dynamic exterior design.
In this teaser image, Genesis applied the brand's unique design detail, the 'G-Matrix' pattern camouflage film, to the GV70. The G-Matrix pattern is Genesis's signature design inspired by the way light reflects off a diamond, and it has been applied across all models of the brand. This pattern will be designed in various forms on both the interior and exterior of the GV70 to emphasize luxury.
A Genesis representative stated, “We specially produced the G-Matrix pattern film for the GV70 test vehicles to ensure the brand identity of Genesis is felt.” He added, “Through the GV70, Genesis will set a new standard in the luxury mid-size SUV market.”
Starting from this day, Genesis plans to inspect the vehicle through test drives of the GV70 with camouflage film attached on roads nationwide for about a month. By scanning the QR code displayed on the camouflage film, a brief introduction to the camouflage film and the G-Matrix pattern can also be accessed.
