Geumcheon Youth Network Online Party 'Bang-guseok Talk' Held

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseong Hoon) held an online party called 'Bang-guseok Talk' from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM on the 26th, hosted by the 2nd Geumcheon Youth Network (hereafter Geumcheonet).

Geumcheonet is a citizen participation organization that proposes and discusses various policies from the perspective of youth. Since its first meeting in May, a total of 44 youth members have continued activities, including participating in the 2021 Youth Autonomous Budget Policy Proposal.

During the event, through an online video conference, participants conducted 'subcommittee project presentations and discussions on the 2021 Youth Autonomous Budget Policy Proposal,' 'sharing impressions and opinions on the network activities in the first half of the year,' and 'online recreation' to build relationships and communication among participants.

The youth members shared their impressions, saying, "It was so fun that I lost track of time," "I look forward to future Geumcheon youth policies," and "Although it was online, we communicated by talking with each other and played enjoyable games, which brought us much closer."

Mayor Yuseong Hoon said, "As COVID-19 prolongs, this meaningful event provided some vitality to the youth overcoming changes in daily life. We will continue to strive to activate the youth network by establishing a foundation for youth activities and discovering various programs."
