[Exclusive] Tak Jaehoon "Broadcast Content Differs from Facts, Preparing Legal Action" (Interview)

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] "The broadcast content is very different from the facts." (Tak Jaehoon)

Singer and broadcaster Tak Jaehoon has announced his intention to take legal action regarding allegations of illegal gambling abroad in the Philippines.

On the morning of the 28th, Tak Jaehoon explained to this outlet, "The content broadcasted on Kim Yongho's YouTube channel is not true."

He added, "I am currently preparing for legal action," expressing a strong stance. He also said, "I am currently recording," and "The official statement will be announced later."

On the 27th, Kim Yongho uploaded a video titled "Celebrity Gamblers, Real Names Revealed" on his YouTube channel 'Kim Yongho Entertainment Chief.'

In the video, Kim Yongho claimed that broadcaster Tak Jaehoon and actor Lee Jongwon engaged in illegal gambling. He explained that he received a tip that Tak Jaehoon gambled at the casino in Okada Hotel, Philippines, in April-May 2018.

Kim Yongho also asserted, "They openly gambled at the 'Jungkitbang' involving comedian Kang Seongbeom."

In a released recording, Tak Jaehoon stated, "I don't know who said that, but I don't have that kind of money," denying the allegations.

Previously, on the 20th, Kim Yongho claimed that comedian Kang Seongbeom and actor Kwon Sangwoo were involved in illegal overseas gambling. Both parties have completely denied the allegations, calling them "groundless."

Meanwhile, Tak Jaehoon is currently appearing on SBS's 'My Ugly Duckling' and is scheduled to appear on MBC's 'Nation of Trot.'
