[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] SsangYong Motor announced on the 28th that it will start pre-orders along with the release of interior and exterior images ahead of the launch of the Tivoli Air.
The 2021 Tivoli Air has significantly enhanced its marketability through design upgrades and the extensive application of advanced features. SsangYong introduced the 'untact car camping' experience in the spacious area measuring 1879mm (with the second row folded) as a unique advantage of the Tivoli Air.
The exterior design revealed prior to the launch is based on the Tivoli, with added style elements unique to the Air, and the interior design has also undergone significant changes to allow users to feel both the convenience and style of high-tech features.
Through the Blaze Cockpit, which includes a 10.25-inch digital cluster and a 9-inch AVN screen, various entertainment services including infotainment can be enjoyed.
A 1.5 turbo gasoline engine, which delivers powerful performance and agile driving despite the larger body compared to models in the same class, has been applied, enabling quiet and comfortable driving.
Pre-orders will be accepted until the 5th of next month, and the new car presentation will be held on the 7th at 7:45 PM, broadcast for the first time in Korea through the CJ O Shopping channel. It can also be watched live on CJ O Shopping and SsangYong Motor’s official YouTube channel. With singer Brian hosting, detailed new car information can be accessed from home.
A SsangYong Motor official said, “The Tivoli Air offers a 720ℓ cargo space that surpasses that of mid-size SUVs based on the stylish design of the Tivoli, and it will invigorate the lifestyles of users exhausted by the pandemic.”
The selling price of the Tivoli Air is expected to be set at approximately ▲A1 18.9 million to 19.2 million KRW ▲A3 21.7 million to 22.0 million KRW depending on the trim.
