Original Copies of Foreign Academic Journals Held by Ewha Womans University Available for Request at Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education and Ewha Womans University Central Library and Foreign Academic Journal Support Center announced on the 28th that they will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) regarding the use of original foreign academic journal materials.

According to the agreement, the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education will provide citizens, students, and faculty members with free access to over 2,500 original copies of foreign academic journal information in the fields of education, social sciences, and arts and physical education held by Ewha Womans University through the Office of Education's electronic library.

The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education explained that while the existing electronic library offered general content such as e-books, online lectures, e-magazines, and audiobooks, this business agreement will enable the provision of specialized content to support academic research.

The service can be accessed through the 'Online Content' menu of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education electronic library, and materials will be sent the day after the request (excluding holidays). Copying and delivery costs will be covered by Ewha Womans University.
