[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jeong-ho] Comedian Im Ha-ryong is drawing attention by mentioning an incident in the past when he threw milk at Choi Yang-rak.
On the afternoon of the 27th, the comprehensive programming channel JTBC's entertainment program 'I Can't Be No. 1' (hereafter 'No. 1') aired a scene where the couple Paeng Hyun-sook and Choi Yang-rak met Im Ha-ryong at a French restaurant.
That day, Im Ha-ryong recalled the past when he slapped milk at Choi Yang-rak and said, "There is a ten-year age difference between Choi Yang-rak and me. Usually, with that kind of age gap, when someone says to stop, you listen. But he called me 'noinne' (old man). He repeated it about five times. I like his persistence, but he’s the type who eventually makes you lose patience," he began.
In response, Choi Yang-rak asked, "Do you still dislike the nickname 'noinne'?" Hearing this, Im Ha-ryong replied, "I'm okay with it now."
Immediately, Choi Yang-rak called him "noinne" several times, causing laughter. Im Ha-ryong revealed his true feelings, saying, "Back then, I debuted late and my face looked old, so I disliked it."
Furthermore, Im Ha-ryong expressed his apology by saying, "I invited him as a way to apologize for throwing milk at him back then," showing his remorse.
He continued, "The worst thing I did after graduating high school was throwing milk at Choi Yang-rak," still feeling sorry.
In response, Choi Yang-rak greeted him by saying, "I ate well, noinne," and joked, "I'm not the kind of Yang-rak who will just take it anymore. If you throw milk again, I will sue you. I will embarrass you," which made everyone around burst into laughter.
Meanwhile, 'I Can't Be No. 1' airs every Sunday at 10 p.m.
