Sporadic COVID-19 Infections Continue

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] Cluster infections of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) are occurring across the country.

The Central Disease Control Headquarters (CDCH) announced on the 27th at 12 PM that the number of confirmed cases related to the 'Yemaru Daycare Center' in Dobong-gu, Seoul, increased by 5, totaling 24. Among the confirmed cases, 9 are center users, 6 are center employees, 5 are related to the sauna, and 4 are family members and acquaintances.

The number of confirmed cases in the Seonggyeong gathering case in Dongdaemun-gu also increased by 3, bringing the total to 22. There are 5 attendees and visitors including the first confirmed case, 4 daycare workers and children, and 8 family members and acquaintances.

Confirmed cases related to 'DY Development' in Gangnam-gu also increased by 6, rising to a total of 15.

Regarding the 'Sammos Porex' sauna in Gwanak-gu, one more case was added during contact tracing, bringing the cumulative confirmed cases to 24.

In Seoul, confirmed cases are increasing among janitors belonging to a cleaning service company working at Sindorim Station. The total number of confirmed cases related to Sindorim Station is 9. It was found that they ate together in a small break room. Among the 9 confirmed cases, 8 are employees and 1 is a family member.
