[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hye-min] On the 27th, Kim Ki-hyun, a member of the People Power Party, commented on North Korea's shooting incident involving our citizens, saying, "They are moved by North Korea's 'piece of paper apology' while treating the lives of our people as lighter than a piece of paper," and added, "A national investigation must be conducted to uncover the truth."

On the same day, Kim stated on his Facebook, "This administration maintains an attitude that even if North Korea fires shells at South Korea or shoots our citizens, we must call for peace."

He criticized, "Killing unarmed civilians is a heinous crime prohibited even during wartime, yet the rotten pro-North faction makes a fuss calling the perpetrators 'enlightened monarchs,' 'exceptional,' or 'good news.' Their psychological victory is worthy of the Guinness World Records," adding, "At this point, this is a level of hell never experienced before."

Kim said, "The international community must have compared the bizarre recklessness of Chairman Kim Jong-un, who manipulates the situation on the Korean Peninsula at will, with the humiliating behavior of the South Korean president who bows down to the 'piece of paper apology' as if it were a sacred relic, fearing to offend Kim Jong-un's mood," and added, "The pride of our people is being crumpled like a piece of tissue."

He urged, "To hold those responsible for the massacre of civilians accountable, we must file complaints with the International Criminal Court, the UN International Court of Justice, and the International Human Rights Court, and work with the international community including the United States, China, and Japan for strong retaliation," and continued, "At the same time, a joint South-North investigation team must be formed immediately to investigate the circumstances of the incident, punish those responsible, conduct searches, and take follow-up measures."

Kim also demanded, "Since the North clearly violated the September 19 South-North Military Agreement, negotiations must be held to establish thorough measures to prevent recurrence," and added, "A national investigation by the National Assembly is absolutely necessary to examine issues such as the Blue House reporting process, the president's time-specific instructions, and the 47 hours of President Moon hidden behind the veil."
