[Asia Economy Reporter Hana Na] Bae Hyun-jin, the floor spokesperson for the People Power Party, criticized on the 27th in an oral comment that "(North Korea's) message not to intrude into its territorial waters is a threat to our government, which expressed its willingness for additional (joint) investigations."

Spokesperson Bae pointed out, "From the perspective of South Korea, which lost its people to injustice, North Korea's attitude shows no sign of remorse."

He then expressed his intention to push for an 'urgent question session to the government,' saying, "The People Power Party must ask President Moon Jae-in, who remains silent, why the national system did not function properly," adding, "That is something the National Assembly, representing the people, must naturally do."

He appealed, "The government and ruling party should actively step forward to reveal the truth about why our citizen was killed in this incident and why the body cannot even be found." He also pointed out, "The Democratic Party's avoidance of questioning the government is the seed of political strife."

Earlier, North Korea stated through the Korean Central News Agency that regarding the search operation by our side for official A, who was shot and killed in North Korean waters, "Our (North Korea's) territorial waters intrusion by the other side can never be overlooked, and we sternly warn against it."
