Increase in Trend After the Holiday Period

According to public broadcaster NHK, as of 8:30 PM on the day, a total of 635 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed nationwide in Japan. The number of confirmed cases, which had decreased to the 200s on the 23rd, rose to the 400s on the 24th, the 500s on the 25th, and then to the 600s.
This is interpreted as the aftermath of the four-day holiday from the 19th to the 22nd.
Meanwhile, the total cumulative number of confirmed cases in Japan has reached 82,518.
