[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] On the 26th, the Blue House announced the results of the Standing Committee meeting of the National Security Council (NSC), stating, "Since there is a difference between the incident details disclosed in the notification from the North on the 25th and our intelligence assessment, we have decided to continue the investigation to ascertain the facts."

The Blue House added, "We have also requested the North to conduct additional investigations and, if necessary, to request a joint investigation with the North. Furthermore, to prevent such incidents from recurring, we have decided to urgently take measures to strengthen surveillance and alertness in the West Sea."
