500 Million KRW Worth of Chuseok Daily Necessities Delivered to 250 Children Using Local Children's Centers in the Province

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] Machang Bridge Co., Ltd. announced on the 25th that it donated 250 sets of Chuseok packages worth 5 million won to the Gyeongnam Support Group for Regional Children's Centers for local children who have to spend Chuseok at home due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The Gyeongnam Support Group for Regional Children's Centers plans to visit and distribute the donated daily necessities sets to children in the Gyeongnam area before Chuseok.
Machang Bridge Co., Ltd. conducts various social contribution activities every year, including scholarship projects, and this year, it is also supporting hygiene products for infection prevention and medical expenses for low-income families.
Kim Bona, head of the Gyeongsangnam-do Support Group for Regional Children's Centers, said, "We are grateful to Machang Bridge Co., Ltd. for donating special Chuseok gifts so that children can have a rich Chuseok despite the difficulty of visiting their hometowns or relatives' houses due to COVID-19 infection prevention."
Meanwhile, there are a total of 265 regional children's centers in Gyeongnam Province, serving 6,697 children, providing care services to families using the centers, and delivering lunchbox snacks for children.
