Support for Farmers Struggling Due to Labor Shortage

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] Kim Hyung-shin, Vice President of NH Nonghyup Financial Group, along with more than 20 employees from the financial holding company and Nonghyup Bank volunteer team, visited Guseongpo Village in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon Province on the 25th to assist with farm work.
Vice President Kim and the employees carried out various activities such as harvesting corn and omija berries, maintaining the village environment, and shared warm affection by donating masks and hand sanitizers to the village to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Vice President Kim expressed his thoughts, saying, "I am very pleased to be able to offer even a small help to farmers who are facing difficulties due to recent agricultural disasters such as typhoons and labor shortages."
Meanwhile, NH Nonghyup Financial Group plans to continuously carry out various farm work assistance activities tailored to the circumstances of farming households together with all its affiliates, including banks, life insurance, non-life insurance, and securities, as the full harvest season begins.
