[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The price of Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency, recovered to the 12 million KRW range within a day.

According to the domestic cryptocurrency exchange Upbit on the 25th, as of 10:45 AM, the price of Bitcoin was recorded at 12.45 million KRW, down 0.48% compared to 24 hours earlier. Nevertheless, after dropping to the 11 million KRW range the previous day, it bounced back to the 12 million KRW range within a day.

The price of gold, considered a representative safe-haven asset, also rebounded slightly. On the 24th (local time), the December delivery gold price on the New York Commodity Exchange closed at $1,876.90 per ounce, up 0.5%. However, it still has not recovered to the $1,900 level.

Meanwhile, other cryptocurrencies showed slight declines. At the same time, Ethereum was recorded at 403,450 KRW, down 0.75% compared to 24 hours earlier. Ripple also fell 0.74% to 270 KRW.
