Chosun University’s ‘Boseong Miryeok Elementary SW Career Experience Day’ Successfully Concluded

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University SW-Centered University Project Group announced on the 25th that the 'Boseong Miryeok Elementary School SW Career Experience Day' program was successfully completed.

This program was held on the 23rd for students of Boseong Miryeok Elementary School in Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do, to help explore careers and motivate them in the fields of SW and AI (Artificial Intelligence).

Professor Cho Youngjoo, researcher Park Yumin, and the faculty of the SW-Centered University Project Group at Chosun University conducted AI and SW robot coding education classes.

Professor Cho Youngjoo said, "As AI (Artificial Intelligence) and SW (Software) are widely used in daily life, we will diversify the development of AI and SW educational content suitable for the Fourth Industrial Revolution era so that many students can benefit."

Choi Deokju, principal of Boseong Miryeok Elementary School, said, "I thank the professors of the Chosun University SW-Centered University Project Group who prepared many robot teaching aids and took care of quarantine measures during difficult times to conduct an enjoyable special lecture," adding, "We will continue to prepare and conduct AI and SW coding education to nurture creative talents suitable for the trends of the times."
