HiteJinro Launches Convenience Store Exclusive 'Terra 2 Cans + Home Somac Mini Glass' for Chuseok


[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] HiteJinro announced on the 25th that it will launch a convenience store-exclusive 'Home Somac Glass Planning Pack' for the Chuseok holiday and target the neighborhood market home drinking crowd.


It is the first domestic brand to be released in a refrigerated display package, eliminating the separate gift receipt procedure for convenience, and will be sold for a limited time of about two weeks including the Chuseok holiday.


While large marts have various planned products, convenience stores have relatively limited sales and display space, making it difficult to carry out liquor planning products. Considering the trend of increasing liquor sales in convenience stores, HiteJinro continuously discussed new methods such as utilizing refrigerated displays to strengthen targeting of convenience store consumers, resulting in the launch of this planning pack.


The convenience store Home Somac Glass Planning Pack consists of two cans (355ml) of Cheongjeong Lager Terra and one free 'Home Somac Mini Glass,' which is selling well at the HiteJinro popup store Ddukkeopsanghoe, priced at 4,000 won. Sales began on the 24th at major convenience stores nationwide including CU, 7-Eleven, Emart24, Ministop, and C-Space.


Seongtaek Oh, Executive Director of HiteJinro Marketing Office, said, "We launched this planning pack to provide more diverse benefits to consumers using convenience stores beyond the imported beer 4 cans for 10,000 won event," and added, "We will continue to lead the increase in domestic beer sales in the home market through new challenges such as expanding exclusive planning packs."
