"Blood Donation Saves Lives"... LG Electronics Conducts Blood Donation Campaign in Russia

"Blood Donation Saves Lives"... LG Electronics Conducts Blood Donation Campaign in Russia LG Electronics recently conducted a blood donation campaign in Moscow, Russia, in collaboration with the local home appliance distributor Technopark.

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] LG Electronics recently announced on the 25th that it conducted a blood donation campaign in Moscow, Russia, in collaboration with the local home appliance distributor 'Technopark.'

The two companies organized this event to support medical staff dedicated to overcoming COVID-19 and patients in need of blood transfusions.

As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), LG Electronics became the first local company to partner with the Russian government and has held over 100 large-scale blood donation events since 2009.

About 10 local influencers, including famous Russian designer Igor Chapurin, Russian film directors, actors, and announcers, participated in this campaign. Additionally, around 50 employees from LG Electronics and Technopark joined the campaign.

On the day, the companies also arranged a session where influencers and blood donation participants gathered to discuss 'healthy living.'

In May, LG Electronics conducted an online blood donation campaign targeting the MZ generation (born from the 1980s to early 2000s) in Russia to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation.

Igor Chapurin created an image symbolizing that blood donation saves lives and printed it on T-shirts. Local influencers wore these shirts and shared videos on social media encouraging people to participate in blood donation.
