He added, "Those who impeached former President Park Geun-hye over the seven-hour Sewol ferry incident, what kind of sophistry will they use to justify President Moon Jae-in's dereliction of duty as president this time?" He also said, "President Lee Myung-bak suspended tours to Mount Kumgang during the Park Wang-ja murder case and imposed the May 24th sanctions against North Korea after the Cheonan naval ship soldiers were killed."

Former leader Hong said, "Let's see what kind of measures President Moon will take against North Korea this time," and called him "a truly ridiculous president."
