CCTV Industry Donates TV and CCTV Worth 300 Million Won to Gurye-gun


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yuk Miseok] Companies representing the CCTV industry donated TVs and CCTVs worth 295.35 million KRW to Gurye-gun, which suffered unprecedented flood damage, on the 24th.


According to Gurye-gun on the 24th, a total of 425 CCTVs worth 267.55 million KRW were donated to the county: Hanwha Techwin donated 200 units, JWC donated 125 units, and Webgate donated 100 units.


A total of 139 units of 32-inch TVs worth 27.8 million KRW were donated. The Korea CCTV Business Cooperative donated 102 units, the Korea CCTV Research Institute donated 20 units, and the Korea Video Information Processing Equipment Cooperative donated 17 units.


The CCTV industry and Gurye-gun held a goods donation ceremony at Gurye-gun Office on the 24th. The ceremony was attended by Kim Soon-ho, the governor of Gurye-gun, and representatives of each company.


Kim Soon-ho, governor of Gurye-gun, said, “We deeply appreciate Hanwha Techwin and the CCTV industry for their generous donation,” adding, “Installing CCTVs in stores and livestock farms damaged by the flood will greatly help prevent additional criminal damage.”


The CCTV industry participating in the donation expressed their condolences, saying, “We gathered our sincerity with the heart of sharing difficulties to offer some comfort to the residents affected by the flood in celebration of Chuseok.”
