[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Jo Gwang-young, a member of the Jeonnam Provincial Council's Agriculture and Fisheries Committee (Democratic Party, Haenam 2), announced on the 24th that he visited Ttangkkeut Nursing Home for the Elderly located in Haenam County on the 23rd to share warmth in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.
Assemblyman Jo delivered a small gift and listened to and encouraged the facility staff who are quietly doing their best despite the difficult conditions and challenging work environment due to COVID-19.
Jo Gwang-young said, "This year has been a more difficult time than ever due to COVID-19, but I am glad to be able to provide a little warm comfort and hope to the elderly," adding, "I will carry out legislative activities to give hope to marginalized and struggling neighbors and to ensure there are no blind spots in welfare."
Meanwhile, Ttangkkeut Nursing Home for the Elderly is a social welfare facility established in 2019 that provides nursing services, care services, and rehabilitation programs for dementia patients and others, currently housing 23 residents.
