Booyoung Delivers 2,600 Care Package Sets to Military Units for Chuseok

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] Booyoung Group delivered consolation gifts to military units in celebration of the Chuseok holiday.

Booyoung Group announced on the 24th that from the 21st to the 24th, it delivered 2,600 sets of snack gift boxes to six military units, including the Air Force Air Defense Control Command, Air Force Air Defense Missile Command, Army 1st and 8th Corps, and Army 22nd and 25th Divisions.

Booyoung Group has been delivering consolation gifts to military units for 21 years since 2000. To date, a total of 78,500 sets of consolation gifts have been delivered. While Booyoung Group has visited military units every holiday season to personally deliver gifts and encourage soldiers, this year, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, they decided to deliver only the gifts without visiting.

In addition, Booyoung Group regularly conducts consolation activities through sisterhood ties with the military to boost the morale and welfare of service members, while also supporting their smooth reintegration into society after discharge by assisting with employment. The group also participates in the '1 Company 1 Barracks Movement,' strengthening civil-military relations by supporting employment, education, culture, and welfare in the military.
