Sacheon (Busan) Rest Area Installs Non-contact Thermometers for COVID-19 Prevention

Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of Korea Expressway Corporation installed a 'contactless automatic fever checker' at the entrance-only gate of Sacheon Rest Area on the Namhae Expressway (Busan direction) as part of efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, receiving positive feedback from customers for its excellence and convenience.

It measures body temperature faster than the existing face-to-face temperature measurement method and can reduce customers' waiting time, which is expected to alleviate inconvenience for users.

A rest area official stated, “All rest area staff are working hard to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and we will do our best to ensure that customers do not experience any inconvenience.”
