SK Stoa to Expand Market Access for Social Enterprises in Jeollanam-do On the afternoon of the 22nd, Kim Young-rok, Governor of Jeollanam-do, signed a business agreement with Yoon Seok-am, CEO of SK Stoa, in the Seo Jae-pil Room at the provincial office to expand market access for social economy enterprises in Jeonnam. The agreement was conducted through a non-face-to-face method using a video conferencing system to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

On the 23rd, SK Stoa announced that it had signed a business agreement with Jeollanam-do to strengthen the competitiveness of social economy enterprises' products and expand their sales channels.


The business agreement held the previous day was conducted non-face-to-face via video conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Meeting online, Yoon Seok-am, CEO of SK Stoa, and Kim Young-rok, Governor of Jeollanam-do, agreed to strengthen the competitiveness of social economy enterprises based in Jeollanam-do and expand their sales channels to revitalize the local economy.


To this end, Jeollanam-do will play a role as a foothold for social economy enterprises in the province to discover various projects and serve as a foundation for their independence and growth, while SK Stoa will actively support product quality and competitiveness improvement as well as expansion into mobile and TV home shopping for non-face-to-face sales channel expansion.


In particular, SK Stoa promised full support by significantly reducing home shopping sales commissions, providing its internal education program ‘Everyone’s Home Shopping, Home?Run’, offering consulting to improve quality and marketability, operating special exhibitions and regular sales on SK Stoa’s online and mobile malls, and linking sales through partner malls such as 11st.


Since 2018, SK Stoa has signed business agreements with a total of four local governments and three promotion agencies, starting with Gangwon Province, supporting small and medium enterprises and social economy enterprises. For example, ‘Pyeongchang Kkotsuni Kimchi’ conducted with Gangwon Province is progressing smoothly, achieving a sales volume increase of 302%. ‘Namwon Traditional Chueotang’ with Jeollabuk-do and Seton Bakery products in collaboration with Gwangju Metropolitan City have gained popularity with sales exceeding 200%. Gyeonggi-do’s Matdeul Food Galbitang also attracted attention with sales reaching 170%.


CEO Yoon Seok-am stated, “We will discover star products from Jeollanam-do social economy enterprises with excellent capabilities and strive to strengthen their competitiveness.” He added, “Through this, we will contribute to revitalizing the local economy, which has been depressed by COVID-19 and various disasters, and help realize social value.”
