Daegu Mayor Kwon Young-jin said, "The biggest concern during the distribution process of the Daegu Hope Support Fund was whether the large number of people gathering at administrative welfare centers would cause issues with quarantine, but thanks to the mature civic consciousness of the citizens, the process proceeded calmly," adding, "I hope everyone applies for the Daegu Hope Support Fund without exception, and that this support permeates well into the local commercial sector, leading to the revitalization of the regional economy."
