[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Toyota Korea announced on the 23rd that it will launch the ‘2021 RAV4,’ which covers both urban and off-road driving.
The 2021 RAV4 gasoline model has added the infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functions, and navigation, which were applied to the hybrid model. In addition, the power backdoor function, which automatically opens and closes the trunk for convenient loading and unloading of luggage, has been expanded.
Toyota Korea will provide the first 100 customers who purchase the 2021 RAV4 gasoline model with the ‘ENJOY Chabak Package,’ consisting of folding chairs, a folding table, a blanket, and an RAV4-exclusive air mattress, essential items for car camping. Various promotions are also prepared, including a 500,000 KRW fuel voucher and the ‘Toyota New Car Exchange Program’ (which allows exchanging for a new car in case of a certain car-to-car accident within 3 years of purchase).
Kang Daehwan, Executive Director of Toyota Korea, said, “The 2021 RAV4 has greatly improved the product value of the gasoline model,” and added, “We hope you experience a younger, more dynamic, and unique lifestyle along with the hybrid model.”
The selling prices of the 2021 RAV4 are 36 million KRW for the gasoline model 2WD, 40.59 million KRW for the hybrid model 2WD, and 46.27 million KRW for AWD.
