[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the exterior image of the high-performance model of the Sonata, the 'Sonata N Line,' on the 23rd. This is the first time the N Line trim has been applied to a mid-size sedan, featuring a sporty design that differentiates it from the standard model.

Hyundai maximized the sporty feel by applying the high-performance image unique to the N brand based on the design identity and the 'Sensuous Sportiness' concept introduced through the existing Sonata. The front of the Sonata N Line features ▲Parametric Jewel Pattern grille ▲N Line exclusive bumper ▲front wing emphasizing sportiness ▲N Line emblem, all of which enhance the sporty impression.

The side includes ▲side sills that make the body appear lower ▲air vents applied considering airflow in the wheel houses ▲black high-gloss point color applied to the outside mirrors and side sill moldings ▲N Line exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels, emphasizing the high-performance image. The rear features ▲black high-gloss point color bumper ▲aerodynamic spoiler ▲dual twin-tip mufflers, further enhancing the unique sportiness of the N Line.

Meanwhile, Hyundai, in partnership with the game company Nexon, will introduce karts inspired by the Sonata N Line in the popular domestic mobile game 'KartRider Rush Plus' and the PC game 'KartRider.' Nexon has released a teaser video related to this, and detailed information will be revealed on the 28th.

A Hyundai official stated, “Following the launch of the basic Sonata model, we have sequentially introduced the Sonata Hybrid and Sensuous to meet the diverse needs of customers. By adding the Sonata N Line equipped with a high-output 2.5-liter turbo engine to the Sonata lineup, we will satisfy customers who desire both high output and dynamic driving performance.”
