Dongduk Academy 110th Anniversary Ceremony Held... Park Kyung-rim and Others Receive 'Proud Dongduk Alumni Award'

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Dongduk Women's University announced on the 23rd that it held the 'Proud Dongduk Alumni Award' ceremony to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the founding of Dongduk Academy and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Dongduk Women's University.

Dongduk Academy was established in 1908 by Dr. Cho Dongsik Choonkang based on the founding spirit of "nation-building through women's education," and operates Dongduk Women's University, Dongduk Women's Middle and High Schools, Seongdeok Middle School, and Dongduk Women's University Affiliated Kindergarten.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, the event was held with only about 40 attendees, including Cho Wonyoung, Chairman of Dongduk Academy, Kim Myeongae, President of Dongduk Women's University, and recipients of the Proud Dongduk Alumni Award. The 'Proud Dongduk Alumni Award' is given to alumni who have made significant contributions to social development and have enhanced the honor of Dongduk. This year, broadcaster Park Kyunglim and three others received the Proud Dongduk Alumni Award.
