Geumcheon-gu to Host Live Broadcast of Geumcheon Youth Center Career Festival at 4 PM on the 26th

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) will hold the 2020 Geumcheon Youth Harmony Square Career Festival "What Will You Do Later?" on the 26th at 4 PM through a live broadcast on the Geumcheon Youth Center's YouTube channel.

This online career festival is designed to provide friends who are contemplating their careers with opportunities to nurture various dreams. It consists of "job introductions and experiences," "talk concerts," and "youth club performances." To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the event will be conducted through pre-recorded video broadcasts and live streaming.

Various occupations such as "Water Safety Instructor," "Nurse," "Psychological Counselor," "IT University Professor," "Career Military Personnel," and "Youth Instructor" will be introduced in an interview format. Participants can also experience various jobs through kits, including "gym experience," "making aircraft models," "making helpline keyrings," "age-specific recommended job tests," and "making dalgona cafe mocha."

Additionally, the talk concert, hosted by university students and career expert instructors, will provide a time for counseling on youth career concerns and encouraging the will to pursue their dreams.

Furthermore, various performances by youth clubs such as "b-boying," "cheerleading," and "orchestra," as well as events like two-line acrostic poems and job guessing games, will be held.

Meanwhile, the "Geumcheon Youth Harmony Square," hosted by the district and organized by the Geumcheon Youth Center, is a representative youth festival of the district where local youths can freely express their talents and creativity. The youth planning team directly prepares and promotes the entire festival process. An online opening ceremony and summer festival were held in August, and upcoming events include the "Multicultural Festival" and the "Closing Ceremony."
