Remote Attendance Management Solution 'Cloud Manager' Launches with Remote Control Capability
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] S-1, a comprehensive security solution company, announced on the 23rd that it will launch 'Cloud Manager,' an access and attendance management solution for corporate clients, to target the rapidly growing non-face-to-face (untact) market.
Recently, as companies expand remote work, cloud services that allow access to data regardless of time and place are gaining attention. The cloud is a type of virtual PC built online, enabling users to install programs or store data just like on a real PC.
S-1 Cloud Manager allows attendance data to be checked anytime and anywhere as long as there is an internet-connected PC, enabling managers to smoothly handle attendance management even during remote work. This addresses the drawback of existing systems where data could only be accessed on PCs with the installed program.
Employee attendance data is legally significant for working hours, so secure management is paramount. Cloud Manager stores data on cloud servers, eliminating risks of data loss due to PC failure or viruses, thus supporting stable attendance management.
Additionally, it is economical as up to five department managers can be set without extra cost. It also supports management of the '52-hour workweek system.' The 'Work Status Inquiry' function is provided, and automatic email and SMS alert messages can be sent to employees expected to work overtime. Since the 52-hour workweek system will be expanded next year to workplaces with 50 to fewer than 300 employees, it is expected to be useful for small and medium-sized businesses as well.
An S-1 official said, "In the post-COVID era, untact has become a key keyword in the security market," adding, "We will lead the market by launching various untact solutions utilizing artificial intelligence and cloud technologies."
