Suncheon Fire Station Completes Jeonnam's First Multipurpose Tactical Training Tower

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] The Suncheon Fire Station in Jeollanam-do held a completion ceremony and safety prayer ceremony for the multipurpose fire training tower, the first of its kind installed among fire stations in Jeollanam-do, the day before.

This multipurpose fire training tower was installed to strengthen life rescue and fire suppression training in preparation for various disasters, securing professionalism in field activities and reducing safety accidents. In the future, it will also be opened to local residents and used as a fire safety experience center for fire prevention education such as So-So-Sim.

The training tower was constructed over approximately 80 days as a lightweight steel frame structure with four floors (10 meters high). It is equipped with various training facilities including underground life rescue training, manhole rescue training for manhole entrapment accidents, apartment fire suppression training, rappel descent training, and emergency escape devices such as emergency evacuation slides.

Ha Su-cheol, the chief of Suncheon Fire Station, stated, "We will do our best to get one step closer to citizens' safety by conducting specialized education and training for each type of accident in preparation for complex and diverse disasters."
