[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Kim Tae-gyun, a member of the Jeonnam Provincial Assembly (Democratic Party of Korea, Gwangyang), visited the Gwangyang Dreamsaem Regional Children's Center on the 22nd ahead of Chuseok, the traditional Korean holiday.

Assemblyman Kim Tae-gyun delivered consolation items such as rice and cup noodles to the children's center and listened to the concerns of the staff. For nearly 10 years, Assemblyman Kim has been visiting facilities and conducting consolation activities to understand the difficulties faced by local residents.

A facility official expressed gratitude, saying, "Every holiday, you show interest and visit us in person, so the children will be able to spend a warm Chuseok holiday."

Assemblyman Kim Tae-gyun said, "It is heartbreaking that visits to facilities are restricted to prevent the spread of COVID-19, making it difficult to be with family even during the holidays. At times like this, the entire community's attention is needed to ensure that no neighbors are left isolated."
