Police and fire authorities who responded to the report that day are controlling one of the lower lanes among the four lanes from the south end to the north end of Yanghwa Bridge and have installed an air mattress to carry out rescue operations.

It has been confirmed that Mr. A climbed onto the arch carrying a container of gasoline and a lighter.

Mr. A reportedly became dissatisfied after filing a complaint related to a theft case at a police station in the past, which was not resolved.
