[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Yuhan-Kimberly announced on the 22nd that it has launched a small size of the 'Greenfinger Comfortable Droplet Blocking Mask.'
Greenfinger, a premium brand for infants and kids, has developed and introduced a small mask that fits children's faces and features a soft lining that is gentle on the skin.
According to a survey conducted by Yuhan-Kimberly targeting parents with preschool children, the most common discomfort when children use disposable masks was 'sizes that do not fit children well (35%),' followed by 'breathability and ventilation (27%)' and 'comfort (25%).'
The new product has been approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety for droplet blocking functionality. The lining that directly touches sensitive children's skin uses soft fabric certified in Europe. It is designed with a 3D three-dimensional design considering facial contours and breathing to make breathing more comfortable. The ear straps also apply soft and thick bands.
Additionally, Yuhan-Kimberly applied an MB filter with a bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) performance of over 99%, produced in-house. It comes in a pack of 30 small-sized masks, individually packaged for hygienic use.
The new product is sold on Yuhan-Kimberly's own mall 'MomQ' and is also available for purchase through Yuhan-Kimberly's online direct store.
