[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] During the Chuseok holiday, a total of 282 elementary, middle, and high schools in Seoul will allow parking.
The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 22nd that from the 30th of this month to the 4th of next month, public and private elementary, middle, and high school playgrounds and parking lots within the jurisdiction will be opened free of charge.
Due to the impact of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the number of schools opening their facilities decreased from 378 last year. The schools will operate while strictly adhering to quarantine measures as they open parking facilities to outsiders.
Residents who wish to use the parking facilities can check whether their school is included through the bulletin board on the Seoul Office of Education website and confirm the opening hours for each school. Inquiries can be made through the schools.
