It Has Been a Difficult Year, but Wishing You a Warm Holiday

Jeon Nam-do Councilor Lee Min-jun Visits Social Welfare Facilities for Chuseok Holiday

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Lee Minjun, a member of the Jeonnam Provincial Council, announced on the 22nd that he visited social welfare facilities on the 21st to celebrate the Chuseok holiday.

On that day, Councilor Lee Minjun strictly adhered to personal quarantine measures and visited a nursing home in Naju City, greeting each elderly person for the holiday.

He also encouraged the staff and listened to the difficulties faced by the institution, promising support for socially vulnerable groups.

Councilor Lee said, "This year has been a very difficult year for all citizens of the Republic of Korea, but it must have been even harder for socially vulnerable groups," adding, "At times like this, we must seek out marginalized neighbors and share warm hearts."

Furthermore, responding to the staff's remarks that donations to social welfare facilities have significantly decreased, causing distress, he promised, "I will do my best to find ways to support so that the facility's operations are not disrupted."

Despite his busy legislative activities, Councilor Lee has been practicing local love by visiting disaster-affected areas during recent floods to deliver relief supplies and finding time to help neighbors in need.
