[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] JTI Korea announced on the 22nd that it has launched the eighth product in the LBS (Less Breath Smell) line, "MEVIUS LBS Tropical Mix," a capsule cigarette that effectively reduces the smell of tobacco in the mouth when the capsule is burst.
The newly introduced MEVIUS Tropical Mix is a capsule cigarette product combined with LBS technology that reduces tobacco odor in the mouth, featuring a special blending not seen in the existing LBS lineup. Additionally, with a tar level of 5.0mg, it emphasizes a cooler and fresher sensation.
Like existing MEVIUS products, it uses premium tobacco leaves selected from regions such as the Americas, Africa, and Europe, allowing smokers to enjoy the unique smooth taste of MEVIUS. Moreover, bursting the built-in capsule activates the distinctive effect of the LBS line, providing a unique and sensory smoking experience.
MEVIUS Tropical Mix is sold nationwide at tobacco retailers and convenience stores for 4,500 won, with tar and nicotine contents of 5.0mg and 0.30mg respectively.
Meanwhile, with this new product launch, JTI Korea has completed a more diverse LBS lineup. The MEVIUS LBS line products that reduce tobacco odor in the mouth total eight types: △ LBS Tropical Mix (5mg) △ LBS Yellow 3 types (1mg/3mg/1mg Superslim) △ LBS Blue 2 types (1mg/1mg Superslim) △ LBS Purple (6mg) △ LBS Mix Green (1mg). Depending on smoking preferences, consumers can choose from the eight LBS products according to taste, tar content, and specifications.
