KB Securities Offers Random Overseas Stocks for New Non-Face-to-Face Account Openings

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] KB Securities announced on the 22nd that it will hold the 'Overseas Stock Instant Win' event, offering famous overseas stocks such as Tesla and Apple as gifts for opening new non-face-to-face accounts until October 31.

The Overseas Stock Instant Win event is available to the first 10,000 customers who open a brokerage account for the first time. Participants must apply through the event page on the KB Securities website and then open a non-face-to-face account to complete participation. Non-face-to-face account opening is available directly on the event page and also through the mobile trading service (MTS) 'M-able (Mable)'.

Customers participating in the event will receive one randomly selected share from Tesla, Apple, Starbucks, American Airlines, or Ford Motor. An LMS message is sent immediately upon account opening, allowing winners to check their winning stock right away. The winning stocks will be credited to the brokerage account opened during the event on November 13.

This event was conducted in partnership with the YouTube channel 'Jjaltoon,' which has recently gained popularity for its B-grade humor, attracting high participation from young people in their early to mid-20s.

Additionally, until November, KB Securities is running an event offering the industry's lowest online commission rate of 0.07% for customers trading overseas stocks for the first time in the US, China, Hong Kong, and Japan markets. Notably, KB Securities provides the Global One Market service, which allows easy and convenient overseas stock investment by trading in Korean won without foreign exchange fees.

Ha Woo-sung, Head of M-able Land Tribe, said, "As interest in overseas stocks grows, we prepared this event to enable customers to become shareholders of famous overseas companies and start investing in overseas stocks." He added, "We plan to continue developing services for customers to invest in overseas stocks economically and conveniently."

For detailed inquiries about the event, please visit the KB Securities website or contact the customer center. Also, please note that stock investment may result in principal loss, and overseas stocks may incur losses due to exchange rate fluctuations.
