[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] Daekyo Group announced on the 22nd that Chairman Kang Youngjung has been encouraging the creative activities of students in the field of three-dimensional art for 21 years this year, communicating with emerging artists through cultural and artistic support.

Chairman Kang Youngjung of Daekyo Group attended the '2020 Daekyo International Sculpture Symposium' exhibition held from the 2nd to the 8th of this month at the Crown Haitai Art Valley Sculpture Studio in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, and spent time communicating with 10 domestic artists. The artists presented works using various materials such as iron and wood.

The Daekyo International Sculpture Symposium was organized to discover new leaders in the cultural and artistic fields and to support the creative activities of young people. This year's Daekyo International Sculpture Symposium creative activities were held from the 4th to the 21st of last month, prior to the exhibition.

A representative of the Daekyo Group World Youth Culture Foundation said, "Since 2000, Chairman Kang Youngjung has been discovering emerging artists in the field of three-dimensional art and providing opportunities for creation and exchange. Especially this year, the Daekyo International Sculpture Symposium prepared the exhibition safely by implementing workspace disinfection, mask-wearing, and social distancing among workers, helping to nurture the dreams of emerging sculptural artists."
