KT Shop Opens "Buy Home Appliances at Discounted Prices"

[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] KT announced on the 22nd that it will launch the ‘Home Appliance Rental Shop,’ where customers can purchase home appliances at discounted prices, on its official online mall, KT Shop.

At the Home Appliance Rental Shop, the latest premium home appliances such as the Samsung Grande Dryer and LG Trom Styler, as well as popular products like AirPods Pro and Buds Live, will be offered at special prices. It is notable that both existing KT customers and new KT customers can use this service.

Existing KT customers can purchase at discounted prices. Customers who newly subscribe to KT Internet or TV can use the service for free up to a certain limit. Customers can purchase one home appliance per KT Internet, TV, or mobile phone product they subscribe to, and payment methods can be chosen between lump sum and installment payments. Availability can be confirmed through professional consultants.

There is also an event to celebrate the opening of the Home Appliance Rental Shop. Until October 31, among customers who newly subscribe to Internet or TV products and use the Home Appliance Rental Shop, 10 people will be selected by lottery to receive an additional ▲Shinsegae gift certificate worth 500,000 KRW. However, the lottery participants must complete home appliance delivery or new Internet/TV activation by November 15. ▲AirPods Pro will be offered with an additional Shinsegae gift certificate, allowing purchase at the lowest Internet price level. Among customers who leave support and congratulatory messages, 1,000 people will receive ▲Starbucks Americano gift cards.

KT Shop is holding a special event called ‘Wise Chuseok Life’ until October 4, offering additional benefits when purchasing wired and wireless products for the traditional Korean holiday. Customers who activate their mobile phones using the ‘1-hour delivery’ service will be entered into a lottery to win home appliances that help with ‘hygiene,’ such as ▲Trom Styler ▲CordZero robot vacuum cleaner ▲DIOS dishwasher. The first 150 customers will receive ▲Emart gift certificates worth 30,000 KRW.

When gifting a phone to parents, special gifts for filial piety are provided.
