[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-eun] Kim Geun-sik, chairman of the People Power Party's Songpa-byeong district committee in Seoul and professor at Gyeongnam National University, criticized President Moon Jae-in on the 21st for entering a Blue House meeting together with Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae, calling it a "symbolic act that throws fairness aside."

On that day, President Moon appeared alongside Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae at the 2nd National Intelligence Service, Prosecutor's Office, and Police Reform Strategy Meeting held at the Blue House.

Regarding this, Professor Kim wrote on his Facebook, "Following the fairness remarks on Youth Day that were out of touch with public sentiment, today you deliberately appeared at the Blue House meeting accompanied by Minister Choo."

He continued, "All other attendees entered and took their seats five minutes early, so why did you especially make a point of entering accompanied by Minister Choo?" raising a question.

Professor Kim also criticized again, saying, "Even though the anger and frustration of young people in Korea have reached a peak due to the current Justice Minister’s mom privilege, deliberately showing support and protection for that Justice Minister at an official Blue House meeting is a blatant disregard for young people and the public."

He added, "Please stop obsessing over defending your own camp and allies, and humbly accept public sentiment from the people's perspective. I earnestly ask you, Mr. President."
