Kang Sung-beom appeared on TBS FM's "Anin Bamjung-e Joo Jin-woo Imnida" broadcast at 8 p.m. on the 21st to share his stance on the overseas gambling allegations.

Kang Sung-beom said, "I often went to the Philippines. I have many acquaintances among Koreans there. They arranged many events for me. The condition was, 'Money is fine, but please take my family on a trip,'" adding, "There was a complex resort with three connected buildings, and the entire area beneath the hotel was a casino. At that time, I met Korean people and encountered many tourists. We greeted each other warmly and took many photos together."

Regarding his use of the casino, Kang said, "Under my wife's supervision, if I won, I would order another beer. People were coming and going, and I didn't want to avoid or hide from them."

On the allegations of drug use and drunk driving, he said, "I did not use drugs, nor did I drive under the influence. I even appeared in a designated driver commercial, so why would I drive drunk?"

Regarding actor Kwon Sang-woo, who was also mentioned by the YouTuber who raised the allegations, Kang said, "Mr. Kwon Sang-woo was also struck by a sudden misfortune."

Previously, a YouTuber who is a former entertainment reporter claimed on their channel the day before that "Kang Sung-beom is a VIP at a Philippine casino," and that the entertainer who was with singer Shin Jung-hwan when he was caught at an illegal casino in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul in 2005 was Kwon Sang-woo.

Kang Sung-beom and Kwon Sang-woo immediately denied these claims. The YouTuber who raised the allegations has promised a second round of revelations.
