Real-time Sharing of Current Tasks Using Onnara Video Conference System on the 21st
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Jung-gu, Seoul (Mayor Seo Yang-ho) replaced the expanded executive meeting to share the COVID-19 response status and current tasks on the 21st with a non-face-to-face video conference using the 'Onnara Ieum PC Video Conference System.'
Sixty-four directors, department heads, and each neighborhood chief, including Mayor Seo Yang-ho of Jung-gu, attended the meeting while sitting at their respective office desks instead of a separate meeting room. More than 300 team leaders, who previously found it difficult to gather in one place, were also able to watch the meeting from their seats and share the overall district administration work in real time.
This non-face-to-face video conference implementation is an attempt to maintain the continuity of administrative work while reducing spatial density and minimizing interpersonal contact to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The district plans to flexibly use non-face-to-face video conferences in the future, considering various situations such as emergencies and work efficiency.
Mayor Seo Yang-ho of Jung-gu stated, "Due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, the proportion of non-face-to-face activities in district administration is expected to increase. Accordingly, Jung-gu is establishing a non-face-to-face project promotion team to prepare various measures to strengthen untact communication between the district and residents, as well as among residents, including district administrative tasks."
