Korea Appraisal Board to Pay 10% of Executive Salaries in Traditional Market Gift Certificates

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Jiwon] The Korea Real Estate Board announced on the 21st that it paid 10% of the September salaries of executives and senior staff, including heads of departments and branches, in traditional market gift certificates to revitalize the local economy, which has been stagnant due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and the rainy season and typhoons.

This salary payment was made through the voluntary participation of executives and others.

Kim Hakgyu, President of the Korea Real Estate Board, said, "We will do our best to share the pain and realize social value to bring warmth to the local economy, which has been stagnant due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic."

The Korea Real Estate Board is making efforts to share the pain caused by COVID-19 and flood damage, including ▲supporting infection prevention supplies for marginalized groups ▲donating 100 million won to Daegu City.
