KB Sonhae Boheom Launches New Corporate PR Digital Ad 'Insurance That Changes the World'


[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] KB Insurance announced on the 21st that it has launched a new corporate PR digital advertisement campaign titled "Insurance That Changes the World."


This newly produced campaign depicts the challenge of the KB Insurance expedition team climbing the Himalayas for the title of "first" that no one has ever attempted before. Through this, KB Insurance aimed to convey its image as a customer-oriented innovative insurer by showcasing industry-first and industry-unique products and services it possesses.


The campaign was produced as a series of three episodes titled "Crossroads," "Weight," and "Reach." Each episode, about two minutes long, features KB Insurance’s industry-first introductions such as ▲the hospital kiosk simplified claim system for indemnity insurance ▲GPS-based real-time location guidance service for emergency (breakdown) dispatch drivers ▲mobile notification service for insurance documents, all expressed through the Himalaya expedition story.


In the roles of the KB Insurance people in the Himalaya expedition team, Lee Seung-gi, the representative model of KB Financial Group, played the main character "Manager Lee," showing his unique smart image along with a charming twist of clumsiness. Actor Kang Shin-il appeared as "Team Leader Kang," humorously portraying the strong leadership guiding the expedition team.


KB Insurance stated, "We will continue to widely promote KB Insurance’s innovative services through advertisements and strive to provide services that satisfy more customers."


The campaign can be viewed on KB Insurance’s official YouTube channel and will also be broadcast on cable TV in the future.
